Producing and Marketing Oil and Gas
At Nursaii Oil and Gas LLP, we are engaged in the extraction, processing, and export of oil and gas through three advanced processing facilities and an equally diverse set of export routes. This integrated infrastructure provides the agility to respond effectively to evolving conditions in the global oil and gas markets.
Our operations are underpinned by leading-edge technologies, with some applications at the forefront of industry innovation. For instance, Nursaii has implemented a high-pressure sour gas injection system—a proven technique that significantly improves hydrocarbon recovery rates and delivers substantial value to Kazakhstan’s energy sector. We have also successfully drilled some of the deepest and most technically challenging wells in the country, including complex multilateral wells that showcase our engineering capabilities.
Delivering Competitive Energy to Global Markets
While our early production was primarily directed to regional markets, the majority of our liquid output is now exported to western markets, with approximately 80% sold as crude oil. Remaining volumes—including unstabilised condensate and raw gas—continue to be supplied to neighboring countries, while dry gas and select condensate volumes are sold within Kazakhstan’s domestic market.
Our main crude oil export route is through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC), which delivers product to the Black Sea port of Yuzhnaya Ozereyevka. An additional route is the Atyrau-Samara pipeline, which connects to the Russian Transneft system, providing access to the port of Primorsk and multiple European destinations.
